POSITION: Executive Assistant to Senior Partner and Team
LOCATION: Washington, DC (In office Mon-Fri with occasional flex to WFH)
HOURS: 8:00AM - 5:30PM with flexibility
COMPENSATION: $130-150K range DOE + Bonus + Benefits

Our client, a Wealth Management firm, is seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to support a senior partner and a Washington, D.C.–based team. The ideal candidate will be mature, poised, and capable of operating with a high degree of independence and professionalism, as they will regularly interact with clients and senior stakeholders. This individual will serve as a reliable right hand, managing complex calendars, travel arrangements, communications, and shifting priorities while ensuring strong alignment across the broader organization. The role requires exceptional judgment, discretion, and the ability to anticipate needs in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Alongside executive support responsibilities, the Executive Assistant will also act as a key point of contact between the team and the firm’s operations department, supporting efficient daily operations as the group transitions from a temporary workspace into a new, expanded D.C. office.
Responsibilities of the EA:
- Provide high-level administrative support to a Partner, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and proactive management of priorities.
- Oversee complex scheduling and calendar management, including client meetings, internal check-ins, and cross-functional coordination.
- Prepare and submit expense reports, tracking budgets and reimbursements accurately.
- Arrange and manage detailed travel plans, itineraries, and related logistics for the Partner and team.
- Serve as a key liaison between the team and the firm’s operations department, supporting efficient collaboration and workflow.
- Assist with the team’s transition from a temporary workspace to a new D.C. office, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Manage correspondence, handle confidential information with discretion, and act as a trusted representative of the Partner.
- Support planning and logistics for team meetings, offsites, and events; assist with agendas, materials, and follow-ups.
- Help organize shared workflows, tracking systems, and team calendars to maintain visibility across priorities
- Provide light administrative coordination for the broader team (~5 people) as needed.
- Anticipate needs, identify process improvements, and ensure tasks are completed with accuracy and professionalism.
Requirements of the EA:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 5–8 years of executive assistant or senior administrative experience, ideally in the financial services industry.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides); experience with Concur or similar expense tools a plus.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities seamlessly.
- Clear, confident communicator who can represent the Partner and team with professionalism and poise.
- Comfortable liaising with clients and colleagues at all levels.
- Team player with a proactive, can-do attitude and the ability to work independently.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and anticipates needs before they arise.
