A confidential, established technology manufacturer serving both commercial and government customers is seeking a Director of Operations to lead end-to-end operational execution across its U.S. facilities. This role oversees manufacturing, planning, materials, and procurement while driving strong financial and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead production, planning, and supply chain activities to meet annual operational and financial targets.
- Ensure the right staffing, resources, and equipment are in place to support daily operations and future growth.
- Drive productivity, cost management, and continuous improvement across manufacturing and repair operations.
- Oversee inventory planning, forecasting, and turnover to support short- and long-range business needs.
- Coordinate capital planning and execution for operational investments.
- Partner with business unit and program teams to align demand, schedules, and delivery commitments.
- Build and develop a high-performing operations team through strong communication, goal alignment, and performance management.
- Travel periodically to corporate leadership for alignment and cross-functional collaboration.
What Helps You Succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Industrial Engineering, or related experience.
- 10+ years of leadership experience in leading manufacturing operations for a small to mid-size company within the aerospace/defense sectors.
