🎯 The Role: Ownership & Execution (On-site, Landover, MD)
This pivotal on-site role focuses on ensuring all custom millwork projects are delivered:
- Safely and On Time
- On Budget and to Exact Specification
You will be instrumental in standardizing PM processes for efficiency and profitability while leading and developing Project Managers and Engineers.

- Base Salary: $140,000 - $160,000
- Bonus Potential: Up to 50% of Base Salary + Annual Company Bonus

🔑 Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership & Team Development
- Provide clear leadership, guidance, and career development for the PM team (8 direct reports).
- Create and champion standardized SOPs and drive accountability for start-to-end execution.
- Supervise teams and set high expectations across all project phases.
2. Project & Financial Oversight
- Ensure projects meet profitability targets and maintain proper margins (familiarity with progress billing is key).
- Oversee the full project lifecycle: setup, scheduling, procurement, installation, and closeout.
- Proactively identify and strategically mitigate risks before they impact cost or schedule.
3. Stakeholder Management & Improvement
- Serve as the key liaison for external stakeholders (GCs, Architects, Owners) and the final point of escalation for client issues.
- Continuously evaluate operations to increase efficiency and support company-wide Lean manufacturing initiatives.
✅ Must-Have Qualifications
- 7+ Years of progressive PM experience, including 3+ years in a Senior Leadership/Director-level role.
- Industry Expertise: Direct experience in the Construction Industry with custom-built components (e.g., custom millwork).
- Financial Acumen: Strong financial and analytical skills, including budget monitoring, margin analysis, and contract language.
- Contracts & Risk: Deep experience in contract negotiation and mitigating risk through proactive planning.
- Technical Proficiency: Expert-level proficiency in modern PM tools (Smartsheet, ERP/Prolog systems, etc.).
