Enterprise Strategic Sourcing Manager:
This role will partner with the Sr. Director of Enterprise Strategic Sourcing to develop and lead the centralized indirect procurement operations. You will be responsible for the overall strategic sourcing efforts while effectively managing suppliers and internal networks to deliver best in class performance for CAVA. Core responsibilities include spend and supply analysis of existing indirect spend and development of go forward strategy to assure supply and support for CAVA’s growth.
Acting as the liaison between Enterprise Sourcing and multiple Departments across the Cava enterprise, you will provide guidance on how to work with Strategic Sourcing team on RFP’s, negotiations with providers, and other Provider Management duties. A large part of this role will consist of helping to stand up and maintain proper Governance for Business and Corporate Services, Technology, Marketing and other indirect procurement categories.
This role will also partner with the Development Strategic Sourcing Team to align on shared processes, tools, and team capabilities.

What You’ll Do:
- Create and run RFP’s, RFI’s and other sourcing events with providers in the Indirect Procurement space.
- Maintain relationships with providers, communicating expectations and tracking performance through SLA’s, Business Reviews and regular alignment calls.
- Serve as the escalation point of contact for systemic issues between the stakeholders and providers.
- Track and report on savings and cost avoidance.
- Maintain diligent records of communication, RFP documents, contracts and Business Reviews.
- Lead negotiations with providers, leveraging strategic sourcing best practices, ensuring that Cava achieves favorable pricing, terms and conditions.
- Work with Stakeholders to capture requirements and ensure these requirements are included in our contract.
- Work closely with Cava’s legal team on negotiation and renewal of contracts.
- Perform duties required to properly on-board new providers.
- Manage and ensure all contract terms, SOWs, and Master Purchase Agreements are reviewed, agreed, and documented.
- Maintain emotional stability in stressful situations; lead by example for how our team should handle adversity

The Qualifications:
- Strategic Sourcing experience required and Indirect Procurement experience preferred
- Ability to handle multiple projects and timelines at the same time, ensuring all projects meet deadlines and requirements are communicated in a timely manner.
- Ability to lead and complete projects with little oversite.
- Ability to think outside of the box to find solutions to issues and situations.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Excellent leadership and project management skills with demonstrated ability to: motivate, think strategically/creatively, and the ability to offer new ways to approach old problems and effect change and continuous improvement across diverse stakeholder groups
- A Customer mindset, with a focus on using the relationship and tools available to you to simplify and increase visibility into our procurement process, programs and drive high incremental value
- Possesses strong interpersonal and presentation skills to influence and negotiate with suppliers, leadership, and peers to drive objective data-based decisions in a timely manner
- Possess a B.A./B.S. in Project Management, Business, Finance, Supply Chain or an equivalent in education and experience
- Demonstrate first class leadership. Able to translate complex objectives into clear, simple actions and demonstrated ability to build and retain high performing teams
- Must work independently with attention to detail, accuracy, documentation, and follow-through
- Ability to manage financial data in a confidential and professional manner
- 5-8 years of relevant work experience
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to maintain stationary position to be able to operate a computer and other office equipment
- Must be able to identify, analyze and assess details
- For certain positions, must be able to occasionally move or transport items up to 50 pounds
- Ability to communicate with others and exchange information accurately and effectively
- Constantly positions self and move about to support ordinary restaurant or food production support or office operations, as applicable
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
