Position Overview:
The Dallas Mavericks are looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented Email Marketing Manager to join our marketing team. This role will be instrumental in leading our email strategy— creating engaging fan experiences, optimizing performance, and driving measurable results across revenue and brand awareness goals. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, execute, and optimize email marketing campaigns that reflect the Mavericks' brand voice and drive engagement, loyalty, and revenue.
- Own the email marketing calendar, including campaign planning, segmentation, A/B testing, deployment, and reporting.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams—marketing, ticketing, content, partnerships, and more—to support business goals and ensure cohesive messaging.
- Design visually compelling and mobile-optimized emails using tools like Adobe Photoshop and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Write, edit, and refine copy to drive clicks, conversions, and fan engagement.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights and recommendations based on campaign analytics.
- Manage and maintain fan data, including list hygiene, segmentation strategies, and personalized content workflows.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in email marketing.
- Develop and refine audience segments using advanced segmentation tools such as StellarAlgo and Salesforce to drive targeted marketing strategies.
- Design and deliver immersive fan experiences by leveraging dynamic, personalized assets across digital platforms, using tools such as Moveable Ink, to drive engagement and brand loyalty.
- Develop creative concepts and lead execution of GIF content, ensuring timely and impactful inclusion across campaigns to enhance storytelling and audience interaction.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in email marketing, preferably in sports, entertainment, or a high-engagement consumer brand.
- Proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud or a similar email service provider.
- Strong design skills and experience with Adobe Photoshop or similar design software.
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS for email formatting.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns under tight deadlines.
- Analytical mindset with experience interpreting data and optimizing campaigns based on performance metrics.
