Allan Woods Flowers is looking for a hard working, friendly, and customer service-oriented floral designer. The ideal candidate will have a passion for artistry, growth, and customer satisfaction.

As a floral designer, you will be responsible for creating beautiful floral arrangements for various occasions, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining the decades-long tradition of excellence and community connection through flowers. Duties

Design and create floral arrangements for events, weddings, and everyday occasions based on customer preferences and specifications.
Assist customers in selecting flowers and arrangements that meet their needs while providing expert advice on care and maintenance.
Flower processing and general maintenance to ensure quality standards.
Operate the in-store POS to process sales transactions efficiently.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
Collaborate with team members to maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.
Stay updated on current floral design trends and techniques to enhance creativity and service offerings.

Qualifications

Proven experience in floral design required for at least one year.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards in floral design.
You must be able to stand on your feet for many hours and lift up to 50 pounds.
Experience with cash registers and POS systems is a plus.
Knowledge of indoor plants, landscape or gardening is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
