A fast-growing New York law firm is seeking an Operations and Compliance Director to lead firm-wide performance and compliance initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing KPIs, overseeing staff performance, and driving operational efficiency in a professional services environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage staff in enforcing and meeting KPI standards across all departments.
- Monitor performance and generate compliance reports through Smart Advocate.
- Identify operational gaps, recommend improvements, and drive efficiency.
- Collaborate with department heads and senior leadership to ensure accountability.
- Oversee accuracy, compliance, and consistent execution of processes.
- Train and support staff in using Smart Advocate (experience with Smart Advocate is a plus, but candidates with experience managing KPIs in other systems will be trained).
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in operations and compliance (law firm or professional services preferred).
- Proven track record managing KPIs, staff performance, and compliance reporting.
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- Smart Advocate experience preferred, but not required.
Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $120,0000 – $180,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
