Overview
The Embassy of the State of Kuwait in Washington, DC is seeking a highly organized and professional Translator.

Skills Required:

University Degree and a Translation Certificate.
Minimum two years of work experience in Translation.
Proofread and edit translated materials to ensure high-quality output free from errors.
Strong communication skills in English and Arabic (both written and spoken).
High level of discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Willingness to work beyond office hours when required.

Initial Package:

Salary: Upon hiring, Employees are entitled to an annual income of $62,892 or a monthly salary of $5,241.
Health Insurance: Employees receive monthly an amount of $1,250 as health insurance allowance.
Social Security Program: Employees may enroll in the social security program and contribute 7.65% of their pay to the U.S Treasury Department once every three months or request End of Service Benefits.
Working Hours: Regular working hours are from Monday to Friday, starting at 9:30 am and ending at 5:00 pm with a lunch break from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
Ramadan Working Hours: During the holy month of Ramadan, the working hours are adjusted from 10:30 am to 3:00 pm.
Annual Leave: Employees are entitled to 30 business days of paid annual leave.
Holidays: Employees enjoy time off for all U.S federal holidays in addition to some Kuwaiti and religious holidays.
